Coke vs. Mezzo Mix

Have you ever thought about equivalencies to Coke?  Well, there is a German one and I tasted it today.  It’s called Mezzo Mix.  It tastes kind of like Coke but it is much sweeter.  I actually like Mezzo Mix better than Coke.

Everyone knows Germany for beer but Mezzo Mix is my alternative and many Germans’ also.

To think that when I went to Atlanta, on a recent 5^th grade field tip at the World of Coca a Cola, I would discover Mezzo Mix. This popular German soda can be found at almost every store in Munich! It tastes like a sweeter Coke but is fruitier. I found it at restaurants, stores, and actually everywhere we went. Wish you were here to “PROST” (toast) a Mezzo Mix with me!

American Lemonade vs. German Lemonade

Wow!  Where is my lemonade and do I have any left? That is what you think when you look at lemonade in Germany.  I ordered lemonade at dinner tonight and was very surprised.  It is completely see-through and it’s also fizzy. American lemonade is sweet, sour, and you can see it.  But German lemonade is pretty much like a soft drink.  I like American lemonade more.
